If not, loosen the distributor & turn it until the marks line up. It should take very little adjustment. Once you've got that done, increase the engine speed to 1200 rpms. First, if you are sure your firing order is correct--1243 CCW and you have good spark plug wires (copper core) and new Autolite 437 plugs gapped correctly at .025....then I would say you need to look at this as a distributor related problem. The more info you can give, the easier it will be to diagnose the problem.
